The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating all things Coke this weekend with the annual Coca-Cola Days celebration. Chamber Executive Director Kelsey Beschorner says they settled on theme “An American Tradition..like Baseball and Apple Pie,” to support the America 250 celebration.
Beschorner says the events are sponsored by the Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company, but it’s really a way to celebrate the impact the company has on the community.
The are a few activities Friday night but most of the celebration will be held on Saturday, including the Show, Swap and Sell that attracts Coca-Cola collectors from around the country.
The Show, Swap and Sell will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Other activities include a pie baking contest, a baseball/softball throwing contest, kids activities, music and food. Raffle prizes are available with tickets costing $5 each or $20 for five tickets. You can also meet the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. All events are held at the Cass County Community Center.
