Cass County Supervisors are set to meet June 16th

(Atlantic, IA) – The Board of Supervisors in Cass County (IA) are set to hold a regular meeting beginning at 9-a.m. on Tuesday, June 16th, here in Atlantic. On their agenda, is:

  • A Monthly report from Cass/Guthrie County Environmental Health Exec. Director Jotham Arber
  • Approval of a Rural Transit System Joint Participation Agreement w/SWIPCO/SWITA
  • Approval of wages and salaries for FY 2025-26
  • Certification of the annual base salary of deputies appointed by elected officials (Treasurer, Recorder, Auditor), in accordance with the Code of Iowa
  • Certification of the annual base salary of deputy sheriffs (classified as exempt and non-exempt, in accordance with the Code of Iowa)
  • Action on setting compensation of extra help and clerks appointed by principal county officers, in accordance with the Code of Iowa
  • Action on setting the annual salary for the Jail Administrator position. And,
  • the passage of Resolutions to: Rescind Resolution 2026-18, and revise [the] Canvass of [the] June 2, 2026 Primary Election; and a Resolution approving Appropriations and Transfers for FY2026-27.
