(Atlantic, IA) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports two people were recently arrested on separate drug charges.
On May 21st, 41-year-old Miles Blake Cooley, of Anita, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana-3rd offense. Cooley was transported to the Cass County jail where he was booked-in and released on his own recognizance; And, on May 25th, 42-year-old Ky Patrick Christell, of Omaha, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Christell was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked released on a guilty plea.
On May 23rd, Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 46-year-old Michael Thomas Brosam, of Knoxville, on an active Atlantic Police Department warrant for Financial Exploitation of the Elderly and Theft 1st Degree > $10,000 (Fraud). Brosam was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held.
On May 26th, 2026, two people from Cumberland were arrested in Cass County for Violation of a Domestic No Contact Order: 42-year-old Lisa Marie King, and 36-year-old Tyler Lee Crawley, were transported to the Cass County Jail in Atlantic. King was booked-in and held. Crawley was also booked-in. He was later released on bond.
