(Atlantic, IA) – Today’s the final full day of the 2026 Cass County Fair! Due to the continued extreme heat, the Fair Board has made a few schedule adjustments to help keep exhibitors, volunteers, and fairgoers safe and comfortable.
Beef Show
8:00 AM (Begins and continues until complete)
The Final Drive / Grand Champion Beef Selection will take place immediately following the conclusion of the Beef Show rather than during the evening.
The Watermelon Feed presented by the Atlantic Rotary Club has moved up to 10:30am instead of 11am – find them with a truck full of watermelon near the outdoor show arena!

Monday Evening Events
All evening events have been moved to the air-conditioned Community Building.
4:00โ5:00 PM โ 4-H & FFA Building Awards
Around 5:45 PM (in this order):
Bucket of Junk Auction
Pie Auction
Parade of Champions (no animals)
Don’t Miss the Pie Auction!
Homemade pie always tastes better when it’s for a good cause!
Last year’s Pie Auction raised nearly $4,000 to support the Cass County Fair. Can we top that this year?
Choose from delicious homemade pies like:
Apple
Peach Blueberry
Strawberry Rhubarb
Four Fruit
…and many more, generously donated by groups including the Cass County Cattlemen, Cass County Fair Royalty, Cass County Farm Bureau, and other community supporters.
Bucket of Junk Auction
The Bucket of Junk auction will take place immediately before the Pie Auction. Proceeds from Bucket of Junk benefit the 4-H Endowment Fund.
Every dollar raised at the Pie Auction goes directly back into the Cass County Fair, helping us continue offering a free fair for our community for years to come.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility through these extreme temperatures.
