The Audubon Community School District administration has sent a note to community members announcing that district schools will be closed on Monday, November 2, 2026 so that students, staff and others can attend the funeral of 16 year old Tatum Christensen.
Christensen, a sophomore at Audubon High school, died in a traffic accident on Sunday in Audubon county when the tractor hauling a trailer that he was operating was struck from behind by a semi.
The funeral will be held Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Exira Lutheran Church.
