Atlantic School Board to act on resignations & recommendations to hire, including a new HS Principal

(Atlantic, IA) – The Atlantic School District’s Board of Education will act on personnel matters during their regular monthly meeting which begins at 6-p.m. Wednesday, June 10th, in the High School Media Center (the meeting will be viewable on YouTube). f. Request from Activities Director Andy Mitchell to adjust 2026-27 calendar, with regard to the early out Friday for Homecoming, to be moved from October 9th to Sept. 25th. If approved, it would change Homecoming to Creston as the Trojans’ opponent instead of Greene County, which, according to Mr. Mitchell, “is what we feel will give a better atmosphere for the event.”
