(Atlantic IA) – Members of the Atlantic Elks Lodge #445 have officially launched ticket sales for their upcoming Scholarship Raffle, a community initiative dedicated to expanding financial aid for local students heading to colleges and trade schools.
Over the past decade, the Atlantic Elks Lodge has awarded or facilitated nearly $30,000 in educational support to area seniors. In the last year alone, the local lodge presented five lodge scholarships, one vocational grant, and two Most Valuable Student scholarships. Proceeds from this raffle will directly build the lodge’s local education fund, enabling broader support for local graduates.
Kyle Quist, a board member of the Atlantic Elks, says “Our goal is to invest directly in the future of area youth. By expanding our local scholarship fund, we can provide stronger financial support to students pursuing both traditional two or four-year degrees and high-demand trade school certifications and degrees.”

Tickets can be purchased from the Elks lodge, Cappel’s Ace Hardware, Brown’s Shoe Fit, and McCunn Specialty Firearms. The Elks will also have a table at AtlanticFest where tickets may be purchased. Tickets are 1-$10, 3-$20, 15-$100. The drawing will be held on October 12th, 2026 on Facebook at the Elks Lodge and winners will be contacted.
