Congresswoman Hinson is currently running for Iowa’s republican senate seat, and with election day coming up Hinson sheds light on what she heard on the road from Iowans, and how she aims to help Iowan’s with their problems, and concerns if she is elected senator.

Many Iowans are currently worried about Iowa’s housing market. With rent, and the costs of buying or owning a house feeling almost out of reach for some Iowan’s. The possibility of having to get a loan just to have a roof over your head being a very big concern especially with Iowa’s younger adult audience.

Hinson addressed the cost of child care, and put a big focus into the Iowan’s that work jobs where they rely or need tips, and overtime, as well as social security benefits for for Iowa’s seniors.

Hinson is facing Josh Turek of Council Bluffs for the seat currently held by Joni Ernst of Red Oak, who decided not to run for a third term in the United States Senate.
