Adair County Supervisors action during their April 8th meeting

(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Board of Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting today (Wed., April 8th) in Greenfield. During their session, the Board acknowledged receipt of the Landfill Audit, and authorized Board Chair Jerry Walker to sign a Cyber Application as required by the County’s insurance carrier.

The Board approved also, a lease agreement with Pitney-Bowes for the postage meter in the County Treasurer’s Office, and separately, a mowing contract.

The Adair County Supervisors approved a new hire with 26-years of experience, for the Sheriff’s Office, retroactive to last week when she started working. The approved as well, several matters related to the County Secondary Roads Department, including:

  • Longevity raises for Luke Meisenheimer and Bobby Jeanes.
  • A Resolution setting the date for a Public Hearing on the vacating of 115th Street (Section 9 Lincoln Township), as April 22nd at 9:15-a.m.
  • A W26 Prussia (Township) box culvert project for FY 26 bid letting.
  • The signing of the final voucher for the N7 Eureka (Township) Bridge Replacement Project, and,
  • A Right-Of-Way contract for the W26 Prussia Reinforced Concrete Box (RCB) Culvert Project.
