The Adair County Sheriff’s office issued a report on recent arrests. On October 19th, 56 year old Thomas Michael Yarges of Des Moines was charged with Theft in the First Degree. He was accused of stealing a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 High Country at a Maverik store in Stuart on July 21st. Yarges had bond set at $10,000.
On October 21st, 47 year old William Joseph Mumford of Stuart was charged with Assault with Bodily Injury after an incident at a residence in Stuart.
On October 24th, 34 year old Junior Romain Hicks of Fontanelle was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a traffic stop in Greenfield. Hicks was cited and released.
