The Iowa Lottery reports sales have been strong through the first two months of the new fiscal year. Lottery chief financial officer Steve French.
French says the profit turned over the state is also above last year.
The Lottery’s Casandra Trenary says lotto games saw increased sales.
Lotto America saw a nearly 28 percent increase compared to last year, and was helped by the third highest jackpot ever.
She says Instaplay is up nu nearly 22 percent compared to the last fiscal year. Scratch ticket sales for the first two months year were up around four percent.
