Full RAGBRAI© route released for July 19-25

(Des Moines, IA) – Organizers of this year’s RAGBRAI have announced more information about the 2026 route, including pass-through towns. The July 19th through 25th event will be the shortest-ever route and the tenth-hilliest, covering 391.4 miles and 16,027 feet of climb. This year’s ride starts Sunday, July 19 in Onawa and ends 391 miles later on Saturday, July 25 in Dubuque. The full route includes:–

Sunday, July 19: Onawa to Harlan – Pass-through towns: Turin, Soldier, Dunlap, Earling, Westphalia.

Monday, July 20: Harlan to Guthrie Center – Pass-through towns: Elk Horn, Exira.

Tuesday, July 21: Guthrie Center to Boone – Pass-through towns: Panora, Yale, Perry, Ogden.

Wednesday, July 22: Boone to Marshalltown – Pass-through towns: Gilbert, Nevada, Colo, State Center.

Thursday, July 23: Marshalltown to Independence – Pass-through towns: Green Mountain, Beaman, Grundy Center, Morrison, Reinbeck, Washburn, Gilbertville, Jesup.

Friday, July 24: Independence to Dyersville – Pass-through towns: Winthrop, Manchester, Earlville.

Saturday, July 25: Dyersville to Dubuque – Pass-through towns: Farley, Epworth, Centralia.
