A Fort Dodge man faces murder and attempted murder charges after a fatal shooting that happened outside a Fort Dodge bar early Saturday morning. As Pat Powers reports, the police officer on patrol saw a man firing rounds from a handgun into a crowd.
“Fort Dodge Police say the officer fired his gun toward the man who was shoooting, the man fired back then ran into the bar and the officer chased him. Webster County Sheriff’s Deputies nearby captured 20-year-old Jamarcus Gully of Fort Dodge. He’s been charged with first degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and the attempted murder of a peace officer. The unnamed officer involved in the incident was not injured. The names of the shooting victims have not been released.”
