(Walford, IA) – A collision west of Walford, in eastern Iowa’s Benton County, Monday, resulted in a death. The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened in the 7900 block of Highway 151 at around 5:05-p.m., when a northbound 2007 Chevy pickup driven by 33-year-old George Daniel Martin, of Norway (IA), crossed the center line of the highway and struck a southbound 2013 Mack truck, driven by 20-year-old Zayden Joseph Keim, of Conroy (IA).
George Martin died at the scene. The crash was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol, with assistance from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies.
