Fatal UTV accident Monday afternoon in NE Iowa

(Black Hawk County, IA) – A man on a UTV died Monday afternoon northeast of Waterloo. The Iowa State Patrol reports a 2020 Polaris UTV being operated by 66-year-old Scott Reynolds, of Waterloo, was traveling southbound, just north of 4505 Crane Creek Road at around 1:55-p.m., when the machine went off of the road and rolled into the east ditch.

The UTV came to rest on the driver’s side and caught fire. Reynolds died at the scene. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office and Dunkerton Fire and Ambulance assisted at the crash site.
