(Tipton, IA) – One person died as the result of a two-vehicle crash in eastern Iowa’s Cedar County, late Monday morning. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened at 1927 Highway 38 near Tipton around 11:07 a.m.
Authorities said in their report, a 2015 Freightliner semi tractor-trailer was backing up across a roadway into a private drive when a 201 Dodge Dart collided with the left side of the trailer.
The crash remained under investigation, and no other information, including the names of those involved in the crash, was released as of this posting.
