Emergency crews respond to an incident at the Manilla water tower, Thursday

Officials with the Denison Volunteer Fire Dept reported on social media, Thursday, that they were requested by the Manilla Volunteer Fire Dept at around 3:15-p.m., to assist with a situation where an unknown man had climbed to the top of the 100-foot tall Manilla water tower.

Winds at time were gusting to around 35-mph. The incident concluded at around 5:30-p.m, when the man climbed down from the water tower.
