(Clarinda, IA) – Clarinda Police Chief Keith Brothers reports that on August 6, 2026, officer with the Clarinda Police Department arrested 50-year-old Mandy Jo Perry, of Clarinda, on a charge of felony distribution of methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Perry was arrested pursuant to an on-going investigation into drug activity in the Clarinda area and the service of a search warrant on the evening of Thursday, August 6th at Perry’s residence in Clarinda where numerous items indicating drug use and distribution were recovered.
Perry is being held at the Page County Jail on no bail pending her appearance before a Magistrate.
The Clarinda Police Department was assisted by the Page County Sheriff’s Department with the arrest of Perry and the execution of the search warrant.
Reports have been forwarded to the Page County Attorney’s Office for the determination regarding the filing of formal charges.
As with all criminal cases, the charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
