CLARINDA, IOWA, April 30, 2026: The Page County Attorney’s Office today (Thursday), announced a jury has determined 48-year-old Joshua Duane Dockweiler, of Clarinda, is guilty – contrary to his plea – of one count of Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor.
His sentence was handed down in Page County District Court following a one-day jury trial on Tuesday, April 28th (2026). The jury returned its verdict after about 90-minutes of deliberation.
Joshua Duane Dockweiler is currently being held at the Page County Jail on a federal detainer. His sentencing will be scheduled for a later date. Dockweiler faces a sentence of up to one year in jail and a $2,560.00 fine.
The case was investigated by the Clarinda Police Department and prosecuted by the Page County Attorney’s Office.
