Engineer Dave Sturm reports the previously mentioned surface grinding project on W. 22nd Street, that was to have begun Friday, July 10th, has been delayed.
Sturm said he received very short notice today (Thursday) from the contractor, that they “had issues getting a ready mix truck for CSI for slurry containment,” and therefore aren’t able to accommodate grinding of the street until Monday through Wednesday of next week.
Sturm said in an e-mail to the media, “Therefore, the road will not be closed tomorrow but will be closed next week Monday-Wednesday.”
