(Radio Iowa) – The Ankeny-based Casey’s convenience store chain has released its new three-year plan. Casey’s C-E-O Darren Rebellez says they plan to add at least 400 stores in a combination of buying and building new stores. The goal is to expand their presence in both existing and new markets.
Rebellez says they would focus on small groups of stores, but would look at a large purchase if it makes sense for the company. Casey’s last three-year plan had a goal of 350 new stores, and they ended up with 504.
The company now has nearly three-thousand stores in 19 states, making it the third largest convenience store chain in the country.
