(Guthrie Center, IA) – The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office reports a man from Audubon County was injured during a rollover accident Friday night. Authorities say 31-year-old Jesse Lee Alexander, of Audubon, admitted he was driving too fast when he entered a curve northbound in the 1700 block of Fir Avenue, at around 9:10-p.m.
He lost control of the 2007 Chevy Tahoe SUV he was driving, which, according to the report, spun 180-degrees before it entered the east ditch and rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels. The accident happened in rural Coon Rapids.
Alexander was transported by Panora EMS to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. His SUV sustained $5,000 damage. Alexander was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
