(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports a Cass County man was arrested last week by Police in Stuart, for Harassment in the 1st Degree (Sexting) – an Aggravated Misdemeanor. 25-year-old Jyden Shawn Trotter, of Atlantic, was arrested May 24th following an investigation into a video of a woman being sexually assaulted a residence in Menlo sometime in 2019 or 2020. During an interview with the Stuart Police Chief, Trotter admitted to the harassment, which included sending a website URL link to the video in question, and to sending still frame images to the female victim. He was transported to the Adair County Jail and released late that same day on a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports also, 36-year-old Chelsie Nicole Liesener, of Osceola, was arrested by Greenfield Police on May 27th at Nodaway Lake near Greenfield, on an Assault charge. Authorities say Liesener allegedly punched a pregnant female following an argument over sleeping arrangements. The victim was checked-out by medics and cleared. Liesener was later released from the Adair County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond.
