Area fire departments respond to a shop fire in Emerson

(Emerson, IA) – Officials with the Red Oak Fire Department report crews responded at around 6:55-a.m. today (Thursday), to a request for Mutual Aid from the Emerson Fire Department, to help with a large shop fire in the 400 block of Howland Avenue, in Emerson. Multiple Mills County Fire Agencies were also dispatched for additional apparatus and firefighters.

The fire was contained to the structure. As of this report, the amount of loss/damage was unknown. No injuries have been reported. (Photos via the Red Oak FD Facebook page)
