(Atlantic, IA) – A single-vehicle accident southwest of Atlantic, Saturday evening, has claimed the life of an 18-year-old female from Minnesota. The Iowa State Patrol early this (Sunday) morning, released information about the crash, that happened at around 5:15-p.m. at Highway 6 and 582nd Street.
Authorities say 18-year-old Dakota Jean Bullock, of Glencoe, MN, was driving a 2025 KIA passenger car eastbound on Highway 6/Whitepole Road, about 5-miles southwest of Atlantic, when the car left the road on a curve, and rolled into the ditch. A passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Cierra Jo Bullock, also of Glencoe, MN, was ejected as the car rolled. She was not wearing a seat belt. The woman died from her injuries at the scene.
Dakota Bullock – who was wearing a seat belt -suffered minor injuries during the crash. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Lewis Fire/Rescue Department assisted at the scene.
