Adair County Sheriff’s Department report,5/11/26

(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Sheriff’s Department reports three recent arrests:

As we’ve previously reported, 33-year-old Jesse Eugene McCann, of Greenfield, was arrested May 7th on a Guthrie County felony warrant charging him with Sexual Exploitation by a School Employee. McCann was turned over to Guthrie County Deputies and made his initial court appearance Sunday, May 10th. McCann has pleaded not guilty. Online court records show he also waived his preliminary hearing.

On Friday, May 8th, Deputies in Adair County arrested 26-year-old Payton Allysa Hill, of Stuart, on a Polk County warrant for Violation of Parole. She was being held without bond in the Adair County Jail.

And, on May 9th, Greenfield Police arrested 47-year-old Ryan Thomas Moriartry, of Greenfield, for Public Intoxication, and Theft in the 5th Degree. His bond was set at $600. Moriarty was released on his Own Recognizance May 10th.
