Adair County Auditor announces her resignation

(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Board of Supervisors, today (Wednesday), reluctantly agreed to accept the resignation of County Auditor/Commissioner of Elections, Mandy Berg, who has served the County for 15-years. Her resignation takes effect June 4th.

She said she’s enjoyed her time in Adair County, that it’s been her home, and the decision to leave was not easy.

Supervisor Jodie Hoadley said Berg was “irreplaceable.”

Separately, Supervisor Hoadley made a motion, and the Board agreed, to accept Directors and Officers Insurance, with regard to Crossroads Board representatives.

In other business, the Board acknowledged receipt and certification of the Cost Allocation Plan. They also approved a related renewal of a contract with Cost Advisory Services. And, Adair County Engineer Nick Kauffman provided his weekly Secondary Roads Department report on maintenance and activities.

The Board authorized Chair Jerry Walker to sign a Right-Of-Way Contract for the W36 Lincoln (Township) Bridge Project, the work for which begins June 1st, and the Contract and Performance Bond for the W26 Prussia (Township) RCB (Reinforced Concrete Box) Culvert Project, which the Board approved during their meeting last week.
