9 recent arrests in Adams County

(Corning, IA) – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports nine recent arrests.

On June 4th, deputies arrested 66-year-old Debra Colton, of Cumberland, for Failure To Appear.

On the 6th of June, Adams County Deputies arrested 24-year-old Thomas Bracy, Jr., of Corning, following a report from officials at CHI Hospital in Corning, about a man who was allegedly being disruptive. An investigation determined Bracy had returned to his hospital room and then dialed 9-1-1 to report someone being shot. While deputies were attempting to place Bracy under arrest, he allegedly resisted and proceeded to pull a fire alarm.

Bracy was arrested and transported to the Adams County Jail, where he was charged with Interference with Official Acts, 2 counts of Making False reports to law enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, and Smoking in a Prohibited Area. While attempting to book Bracy into the jail, he was also charged with Assault on persons in Specific Occupations, Interference with Official Acts, and Attempting to Escape Custody.

On June 11th, Adams County Deputies arrested 38-year-old Shawn Riazzi, of Grant, for Failure To Appear.

Adams County Deputies arrested 56-year-old Rhonda Thompson, of Villisca, on June 15th, also for Failure To Appear. On that same date, a traffic stop at Highway 34 and Notchwood Avenue in Adams County, resulted in the arrest of 61-year-old Eric Daugherty, of Des Moines, on a valid Department of Corrections warrant.

On the 18th: a 15-year-old male was arrested in Adams County and charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree. His case was referred to Juvenile Court; 37-year-old Kayla Hoffman, of Des Moines, was arrested for Failure To Appear.

Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 45-year-old Clinton Green, of Corning, on June 21st, on a Disorderly Conduct charge. And, at around 12:30-a.m. on June 22nd, 41-year-old Jill Neil, of Corning, was arrested for Interference with Official Acts. Her case is still under investigation, with additional charges pending.
