(Red Oak, IA) – The Red Oak Police Department reports a woman from Polk County was arrested at around 10:30-p.m., Thursday, on a drug charge. Authorities say 43-year-old Melissa Suzanne Wingfield, of Des Moines, was arrested near the intersection of Broadway and Corning Streets in Red Oak, for Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs – a Serious Misdemeanor.
Wingfield was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and later released on a $1,000 bond.
