(Mount Ayr, IA) – The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest Sunday night, of 20-year-old Michael Joseph Cooley, of Afton. Cooley was taken into custody at his residence, on an outstanding Ringgold County warrant for Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order. He was booked into the Ringgold County Jail and held without bond until seen by a Magistrate.
And, at around 8-p.m. Monday, April 27th, Ringgold County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 49-year-old Matthew William Lingerfelt, of Diagonal, at his residence. Lingerfelt was arrested on a Ringgold County Bench warrant for Failure to Appear, in connection with a Civil Court case. His cash-only bond was set at $2,500.
