(Red Oak, IA) – No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident Thursday night east of Elliott, in Montgomery County. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were dispatched at around 8-p.m. to the 2300 block of 110th Street, for a reported accident. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 2024 Chevy Trax on its side, in the north ditch.
An investigation determined SUV, driven by Ashlynn Bentley, of Red Oak, was traveling west on 110th Street, when the vehicle entered the north ditch and ramped a field drive, causing the vehicle to land on its side.
Bentley, and her seven-month old passenger, were not injured in the crash. Bentley was cited by Deputies for Failure to Maintain Control.
