(Red Oak, IA) – Officials with the Red Oak Police Department report two arrests took place Sunday afternoon. Authorities say at around 1:36-p.m., Officers with the Red Oak P-D arrested 37-year-old Jason Rolfe Aherns, of Red Oak, for Domestic Abuse Assault/1st offense (A simple misdemeanor). And, at around 2;57-p.m. 46-year-old Lorianna Brantley, of Des Moines, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (A simple misdemeanor), and on an active Polk County warrant for Theft in the 3rd Degree (an aggravated misdemeanor. Ahrens and Brantley were arrested at a residence in the 100 block of E. Prospect Street.
Both subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where Aherns was being held without bond, and Brantley was being held pending extradition to Polk County.
