(Villisca, IA) – A traffic stop late Monday night (June 29th) in Villisca, resulted in two arrests. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Deputies conducted the traffic stop at around 11:10-p.m. in the 100 block of North U Avenue, and upon further investigation, arrested 43-year-old Luke Allen Mullen, of Bedford, for Driving While Barred (An Aggravated Misdemeanor), and on a Class-D Felony charge of Theft in the 2nd Degree – Motor vehicle.
Also arrested at the scene, as 54-year-old Alberta Starylynn Montano, of West Minister, CO, who was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense/Methamphetamine, and Theft in the 2nd Degree – Motor vehicle (Class D Felony).
Both subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where their bonds were set at $5,000 each.
