(Red Oak, IA) – Red Oak Police Chief Justin Rhamy reports an adult and three juveniles were arrested Friday (April 3rd), in connection with an incident that occurred on Thursday (April 2nd), in the 500 block of W. Coolbaugh Street – also known as a boat ramp area – where the levee system on the west side of Red Oak, was vandalized.
Rhamy said 19-year-old Halle Rachelle Baldwin and a 17-year-old male, both of Red Oak, were arrested in the 900 block of Hammond Street. Both were charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. Baldwin was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $2,000 bond. The juvenile was processed at the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center, and later transported to the Southwest Iowa Juvenile Detention Center in Council Bluffs.
Two other 17-year-old males, one from Red Oak, the other from Carson, were arrested in the 100 block of W. Coolbaugh Street. They were also charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. Both teens were processed at the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center, and later transported to the Southwest Iowa Juvenile Detention Center in Council Bluffs.
The names of the 17-year-old suspects were not released because of their age.
