(Creston, IA) – The Creston Police Department reports a vehicle parked at the Casey’s store on Sumner Street, was struck by an unidentified vehicle, Monday. The unoccupied 2020 Jeep Cherokee (SUV) was hit on the rear passenger side, sometime between 4-p.m. and 7:40-p.m. The vehicle sustained an estimated $2,500 damage.
The driver of the unknown vehicle failed to report the collision to law enforcement or the Jeep’s owner. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Creston Police.
