(Atlantic, IA) – A former teacher/counselor for the Atlantic Community School District has agreed to surrender his license to practice and will not be allowed to have the license reinstated. The Iowa Board of Educational Examiners on March 19th, issued an Order acknowledging the voluntary surrender, on March 13th. of Jesse McCann’s teaching license.
McCann was terminated from the Atlantic School District, over allegations of inappropriate conduct with students. To date, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the allegations.
