(Council Bluffs, IA) – Officials with the Council Bluffs Police Department say that on Monday, March 23rd, a little after 2-p.m., Offices were dispatched to the west side of Indian Creek, south of the 1700 block of Veteran’s Memorial Hwy., for a report of a dead body.
The deceased male was located by a city Public Works employee who was mowing the creek bank. The individual has been identified, but his name is not being released at this time so that extended family can be notified.
Investigators say they do not believe the death is suspicious, but an investigation is ongoing
and will include an autopsy.
