Thursday’s storms brought heavy rain to some parts of southwest Iowa. Here in Atlantic, at the KJAN studios, we received 1.05″ of rain. Greenfield had 1.9″; Adair reported 1.4″; Massena reports 1.24″. Elsewhere: Henderson reported 3.5″; Emerson 3.25″; Oakland had 2″; 1.65″ of rain fell in Bedford; Shenandoah reports .87″; Creston had .8″; one-half inch of rain was reported to have fallen in Avoca; and .44″ of rain was reported in Audubon.
