The Iowa Board of Regents facilities committee has approved more renovation work on the Iowa Hawkeye baseball complex. University of Iowa Vice president Rod Lehnertz says they did phase one after raising the money to pay for it.

Lehnertz says the next phase will make more improvements to Duane Banks Field.

Lehnertz says the next phase will start after the 2026 baseball season is over.

Lehnertz says they expect the project to be completed by the 2027 baseball season. The full board of Regents is expected to approve the project Thursday.
