Riverside sweeps Stanton Co-Ed Meet

The Riverside track and field teams swept the team titles at the Stanton Co-Ed Meet that was hosted in Griswold on Thursday.

Riverside got wins from Veronica Andrusyshyn in the 100M and 400M. Lydia Erickson won the 200M. Madison Kelley took the Discus title. The Lady Dawgs also won the 4x100M Relay (Elly Henderson, Lydia Erickson, Emma Gordon, Veronica Andrusyshyn), 4x200M Relay (Olivia Lund, Carly Henderson, Elly Henderson, Lydia Erickson), 4x400M Relay (Elly Henderson, Veronica Schechinger, Veronica Andrusyshyn, Lydia Erickson).

ACGC’s Ava Campbell won the 800M and 1500M.

Riverside was led by wins from Ayden Salais in the 400M and 800M. The Bulldogs also won the 4x400M Relay (Teegan Schechinger, Grady Jeppesen, Mason McCready, Salais), and Sprint Medley (Jeppesen, McCready, Emery Evans, Keaten Rieken).

AHSTW’s Luke Sternberg won the 200M and Gavin Newcomb took the 110M Hurdles. The Vikings won the Distance Medley (Seth Pope, Gavin Newcomb, Nick Denning, and Caleb Hatch) and the Shuttle Hurdles (Gavin Newcomb, Luke Sternberg, Nick Denning, Seth Pope).

AGCG’s Justin Reinhart won the 1600M and 3200M. The Chargers also won the 4x200M Relay (Tate Fever, Easton Stringham, Joe Crawford, Lance Bunde).

Tri-Center won the 4x800M Relay (Sean McGee, Brennan Boden, Michael Turner, Carter Kunze) and Carter Kunze won the Long Jump for the Trojans.

Griswold’s Peyton Cook won the 100M.
