(Radio Iowa) – Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy believes this Iowa State team is built to handle the stretch run. The 17th ranked Cyclones sit at the top of Big 12 standings as they get set to host Kansas State.

Purdy says added experience should help during the final three games.

Junior defensive back Anthony Johnson says limiting mistakes will be a key the rest of the way.

Johnson says the Cyclone defense is concerned about the K-State combination of freshman running back Deuce Vaughn and freshman quarterback Will Howard.
