ITHA CARNS, 90, of Fontanelle, died Monday, June 29th, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle.  Celebration of Life services for ITHA CARNS will be held 10:30-a.m. July 8th, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle has the arrangements.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests masks to be worn and there will be limited seating at the church. You may livestream the service at www.facebook.com/FontanelleLutheran.

Open Visitation without the family present:  Will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Burial is in the Fontanelle Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to the Adair County Historical Society.

Her sons – Frank (Kathy) Carns, and Clark (Michelle) Carns, of Greenfield.

Her daughter-in-law: Karen Carns, of Atlantic.

Her sister – Ruby VanCleave of Des Moines;

5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren;

other relatives, and friends.
