(Corning, IA) – Among the county fairs that are getting underway in the days and weeks to come, is the Adams County Fair, in Corning. The fair begins Thursday and concludes Monday. Adams County ISU Extension Director and Youth Coordinator Ava Rectenbaugh says while the number of youth participants this year are steady, they’ve seen the livestock numbers increase over last year.
The show schedule for those animals is a bit different from last year.
The Horse Show gets underway at Noon, Thursday. Aside from the livestock shows, there are many more activities for the family to enjoy at the Adams County Fair.
Ava Rectenbaugh says the weekend is packed full of kids and other activities.
The Livestock Sale takes place Monday, beginning at 6:30-p.m., followed by the Premium Sale, Herdsmanship, and Shooting Sports Exhibition Results. The Swine Carcass results will be made available July 17th at Corning Meat Processing.
