(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Fair in Greenfield is underway now, through July 12th. The fair of course features livestock shows along with youth exhibits, family activities and grandstand events each day of the fair. Adair County Fair board member Doug Wallace says the Fair Board has spent months preparing for the week long activities.
The Adair County Fair features a variety of food vendors, lots of entertainment and youth-centered events.
Wallace says the Adair County Fair is still running strong and the Fair Board takes pride in making sure there’s something for everyone.
The fairgrounds feature high-speed internet and new this year, is a brand new grandstand.
Speaking of the grandstands, the schedule this week includes: a rodeo Thursday night; 406 FMX High Air Show, Friday night; a Demolition Derby Saturday night, and Figure 8 races Sunday night. There are numerous livestock events, including the horse, swine and poultry competitions, sheep and goat shows, a dog agility contest, beef show and Bottle Bucket Calf Show.
