We have high school basketball from the Rolling Valley Conference tonight as Adair-Casey visits CAM at Anita.  The girls game will tip-off at 6:00 pm with the boys game to follow.  It’s “Paws for a Cause” night as they help to raise money for the Cass County Relay for Life, so join in the fun with the silent auction.  If you can’t make it to the games you can listen on AM 122 and FM 101.1.  You can also watch it with us on the TV page at www.kjan.com as we will also be offering our live streaming video!

Tonight on KJAN TV we will feature a live broadcast of the Atlantic/CAM wrestling double dual versus Coon Rapids-Bayard and Logan-Magnolia.  Justin Williams will join Jim Field with all the action beginning at 5:30 from the CAM High School in Anita.  So if you can’t make it to the matches, just watch it with us as we provide live streaming video of the meet on KJAN TV!

We have Iowa men’s basketball on KJAN radio tonight, so look for high school basketball on www.kjan.com.  We will have live streaming video on KJAN TV tonight as the red-hot Atlantic girls will host Red Oak in Hawkeye 10 Conference girls basketball.  Atlantic is off to a 4-0 start and will face a very athletic Red Oak team who comes in with a mark of 1-1.  We’re on the air at 7:30 tonight as Jim Field and Chris Parks will bring you all the action.  Get to the game if you can, but if you can’t, watch it with us on KJAN TV!

The Griswold versus Bedford Girls/Boys Basketball Doubleheader for tonite (12-2-14) has been postponed to a later date due to an electrical issue.

Our broadcast game tonight on KJAN is basically a play-off game….the team that wins is in the play-offs!  Tri-Center visits Griswold tonight and both teams are hunting for the fourth and final play-off spot in Class A District 1.  The Trojans and the Tigers have identical records of 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the district.  We’ll have the game live tonight on AM 1220, FM 101.1 and on kjan.com.  You can also watch the game on your computer or smartphone with our live streaming video on the TV page at kjan.com!

Our high school football game of the week tonight is in Audubon as the Wheelers play host to Riverside in Class A District play.  Both teams have faced tough early schedules with the Bulldogs 0-5 and the Wheelers 3-2.  Riverside features a no-nonsense ground attack led by running backs Tucker Bluml and Brock Bentley, while Audubon depends on the running and throwing of quarterback Trevor Smith and running back Jake Mulford.  Our pre-game show begins at 6:30 tonight with the kick-off set for 7:00 from Chis Jones Field.  You can listen to the game on AM 1220, FM 101.1, online at kjan.com or on your smartphone with the free KJAN app.  We will also feature live, streaming video of the game.  If you can’t make it to the stadium, watch it live on the TV page at kjan.com!  Jim Field and Chris Parks will have the call.
