DUANE E. SCHMIDT, 86, of Audubon, died Dec. 31st, at Iowa Methodist Hospital, in Des Moines. Funeral services for DUANE SCHMIDT will be held 1-p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4th, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Audubon. Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon has the arrangements.

A family visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 3rd, from 5-until 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.

His daughter – Joan Fancher, of Audubon.

His sons – Daniel (Christine) Schmidt, and Dean (Julie) Schmidt, all of Audubon; Terry Schmidt, of Atlantic.

His sisters – Phyllis Kelly, of Lake View, and Sherrin (Lyle) Klacsan, of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and his sisters-in-law.
