A FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT FOR NORTHERN MONTGOMERY…NORTHERN MILLS AND POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTIES...

At 839 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated flooding across the warned area. Radar estimates of one and one-half to three inches of rain occurred during the overnight hours. Additional rainfall of one-half
to three-quarters of an inch is possible.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Council Bluffs, Glenwood, Oakland, Treynor, Underwood, Carson,
Walnut, Pacific Junction, Elliott, Macedonia, Crescent, Silver City,
Hancock, Henderson, Hastings, McClelland, Grant, Old Town Park, Lake
Manawa State Park and Farm Creek Public Wildlife Area.

Additional rainfall amounts of one-half to three-quarters on an inch is possible.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
