LaVERNE JOHN SCHUNING, 84, of Harlan, died Friday, Aug. 9th, at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Funeral services for LaVERNE SCHUNING will be held 10:30-a.m. Wed., Aug. 14th, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tue., Aug. 13th, from 8-a.m. until 8-p.m., with the family greeting friends from 5-until 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Harlan Cemetery.

His sons – Craig (Karla) Schuning, of Shawnee, KS., & Trent Schuning, of Portsmouth.

His daughter – Janelle (Kurt) [Shuning] Musfeldt, of Harlan.

His brothers – Steve (Rita) Osbahr, of Avoca, and Larry (Connie) Osbahr, of Arvada, CO.

His sisters – Donna Hansen, and Debbie (Jerry) Stendrup, all of Harlan; and Karen Pope, & Dianna (Dennis) Taylor, all of Avoca.

5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
