D. DEAN SCHLATER, 84, of Exira, died Sunday, June 2nd, at the Exira Care Center. Funeral services for DEAN SCHLATER will be held 10:30-a.m. Wed., June 5th, at the Exira Christian Church. Hockenberry Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

Visitation is open at the funeral home from Noon until 7-p.m. Tuesday, June 4th.

Burial is in the Exira Cemetery.

His son – Steve (Lisa) Schlater, of Orlando, FL

His daughters – Darla (Rich) Hansen, of Atlantic, & Cherie (Kevin) Petty, of Exira.

His sister – Barb (Doug) Schwaller.
