JACOB C. HASTERT, 88, of Harlan, died Friday, March 29th, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community. A Mass of Christian Burial for JACOB HASTERT will be held 10:30-a.m. Tuesday, April 2nd, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan is on Monday, April 1st, from 5-until 8-p.m., with a Wake service at 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery at Westphalia.

His sons – Robert (Tammy) Hastert, Richard (Deborah) Hastert, William (June) Hastert, and Timothy Hastert, all of Harlan.

His daughters – Linda (Randy) Terpstra, of Hawarden, and Mary (Stu) Oden, of Wahoo, NE.

His sisters – Anna Rueschenberg, of Westphalia, and Rita Finken, of Harlan.

His brother – Joe (Georgianna) Hastert, of Panama.

13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
